The much awaited film on one of the most successful and controversial captain of Indian Cricket Team, 'Azhar' is here and promises to give you goosebumps!
Directed by Tony D'Souza, the film stars Emraan Hashmi as Mohammad Azharuddin, Prachi Desai as Azharuddin's first wife Naureen and Nargis Fakri as Sangeeta Bijlani. Lara Dutta and Gautam Gulati will be seen in supporting roles.
The film will cover the rise and fall of the Indian skipper who was caught in a fixing scandal which led to a life time ban on his cricketing career. From setting records with his debut to his love life, Azharuddin has been the child of the lime light which eventual led to the biggest controversies back in 90's.
A lot of expectations is attached with this Ekta Kapoor Productions. The film is schedule to release on May 13.
